Manufacturing Process:
Hot rolled steel is cleaned by washing with hydrochloric acid on a push-pull pickling Line. It is then passed through a 4-HI Reversing Mill where the thickness is reduced; the coil is then forwarded for rewinding before being annealed in a controlled atmosphere of hydrogen. Once removed from the annealing cycle the coil is transferred to a skin passed mill where a final reduction take place and oil is applied through an electrostatic process. Before packing the CRC material is sent to a tension leveler where it is processed to ensure surface flatness.
